Klingberg Family Centers is looking for volunteers to assist with the final event of the 2019 Vintage Motorcar Series on September 21. The event will begin at 7:30am for car owners and will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to noon.
The events each feature a traditional auto show (cars 1979 and older), special feature cars, and a display of prewar automobiles. In addition, there will be food trucks, children’s activities, and a focus on one of Klingberg Family Centers’ treatment programs.
Tasks for the shows include setup, parking assistance, front gate greeter, children’s activities, social media, and cleanup. Volunteers receive free admission and a Klingberg t-shirt.
Please note that while we welcome volunteers of all abilities, the show is located on hilly, uneven ground, and sedentary volunteer opportunities are limited.
The Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Series raises vital funds to support Klingberg Family Centers’ programs serving over 3,000 children and family members each year whose lives have been affected by trauma.
