OUR MISSION

As the Human bank, TD stands by its core belief and practice in giving back to the communities we serve. By understanding the local fabric of our neighborhoods, we address some of the most pressing needs through our community programs on a hyper-local level.

Our neighbors inspire us to go above and beyond meaningful community giving programs to make a lasting impact. We touch all sorts of communities, organizations, issues and people, and we strive to support the causes that matter most to them while delivering legendary experiences. Our ultimate goal is to inspire others to make a difference in their communities.

After all, we’re not just a bank; we’re also real people and neighbors, too. We walk our dogs down the same streets as our Customers. We shop at the same stores. We take our children to the same schools. We are invested in making a positive, lasting impact.

OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Our commitment shows. Annually, we conduct thousands of initiatives at the local and regional level. Whether it’s planting more than 7,000 trees within hundreds of communities we serve; advocating for diverse and inclusive communities through our 29 city pride events; or providing more than $17 million to nonprofits working to strengthen our communities, we are making meaningful change by committing dollars and resources to issues that matter most. We strategically give to programs, projects and services managed by non-profit organizations to enhance the quality of life of all residents and enrich relationships amongst diverse community constituents. And to top it off, our strong culture of volunteerism has helped us to bridge the gap with our neighbors and establish trust in the community. Since September 2013, nearly 15,000 Employees have volunteered more than 200,000 hours with more than 4,200 non-profit organizations from Maine to Florida.
