Beginning in 2018, Klingberg Family Centers will expand to five 3-hour events, the Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Series, tripling the total show time and giving car owners, visitors, and sponsors five days to enjoy unique automobiles . Each event will be held on a Saturday morning from 9am to noon and will continue to have the Traditional Car Show with a 1979 cut-off year, Pre-war Automobile Display area and a new area for Special Feature Automobiles and bring awareness to issues facing children and families. We are pleased to welcome Wayne Carini and his daughter Lindsay back as Grand Marshals of the 2018 Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Series. Wayne spent his childhood restoring antique cars and attending shows alongside his father and is now the star of Chasing Classic Cars on Velocity. Like her dad, Lindsay is also a collector of vintage automobiles.
The first ever Klingberg vintage truck feature will be a rare opportunity to see vintage trucks from the earliest workhorses through the 1970s. The utility of trucks and the wide variety created over time carried American industry. Many local businesses have relied on trucks to deliver their goods and services, so we will gather the restored vehicles from area businesses, an unprecedented display.
