honoring-bob-carini-compressedThe 2016 Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Festival was the first time that Wayne Carini served as grand marshal without his dad by his side. Bob was greatly missed at our show, but we took the opportunity to honor his life with the Bob Carini Memorial Trophy, a banner, a special display of automobiles he had worked on, and a short write-up in our program magazine. The Bob Carini Memorial Trophy will be an ongoing part of our show, and the banner will also be displayed in future years.

In addition to honoring Bob Carini, we created a new sponsorship opportunity this year for others wishing to honor the lives of influential people. We were delighted to recognize 10 remarkable men at our 2016 Motorcar Festival through this new opportunity with a brief piece on each in the program magazine, their photographs on large banners to be displayed for years to come, and the presentation of a trophy. You can read about each honored person by clicking on their names below. If you are interested in honoring an important person in your life at our 2017 Vintage Motorcar Festival, please contact Mark Johnson.
