Frequently Asked Questions
What vehicles can be displayed?
Any vehicle that was made prior to 1979 is welcome at all three events in the series. We welcome cars, motorcycles, and trucks. You may bring the same car to all three events or bring a different one to each event.
Do I have to register my car in advance?
No, we will ask you to fill out a registration form when you pay at the gate. There is a $10 entrance fee for each car that includes entrance for the driver. Any additional passengers will be charged a $10 spectator fee ($8 for seniors 65+). Children 12 and under are free.
What happens if there is rain forecasted or it is raining the day of the show?
Rain is not the best friend of a vintage car. We will be evaluating the weather and posting postponements and rain dates on our website. If you subscribe to our Klingberg Vintage Motorcar email newsletter you will also get notification of a change of date in that way. Click here to subscribe:
We will also be posting information on Facebook. Please like our page: www.facebook.com/klingbergauto.
As a spectator where do I park?
May and September shows will offer spectator parking on our campus. You will be directed to the parking by a volunteer. Handicapped parking and drop-off opportunities are available. Spectator parking is free. In June, spectator parking will be at New Britain Stadium. Buses (including handicap-accessible buses) will transport you a short distance to the show.
